In what has become an increasingly alarming wave of immigrant-perpetrated violent crime, a 15-year-old Venezuelan was arrested in New York for robbery-related shootings in Times Square.
Crying..he's crying? This kind of violence may be perfectly ok in Venezuela..but not here. Bragg better not release this crowd on bail.

Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa was shoplifting items in a sporting goods store with two illegal accomplices, aged 15 and 16. He fired a 45-caliber handgun at a security guard who confronted them, but hit a Brazilian tourist instead. He also fired a shot at a responding New York City police officer but missed.
Rivas-Figueroa fled the scene but was later arrested in a Yonkers house and is being charged as an adult with the attempted murder of a police officer.
The Brazilian tourist had non-fatal injuries and was released from the hospital.
Typically, the narrative following such an incident is rife with defenses of the 100,000-strong New York City illegal community. The public is assured that all migrants are just here for a better life, and their ranks produce no more crime than the public at large.
Indeed New York Police Chief of Patrol John Chell read from the canonical woke script during a press conference: “We’re not going to broad brush a whole migrant community as being bad people.”
But what he added is very telling: “Some Venezuelan groups of migrants – and I say some, not all – that are affecting crime in our city more so now than when they first got here.”
Chell’s admissions may be a sign that indignation over relentless mass immigration is reaching a critical mass. Even in Democrat “sanctuary cities” such as New York, those in authority are feeling more comfortable saying the “quiet part out loud.”
Even liberal Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has shown frustration about the problem – and the apparent lack of interest by his supposed allies in the Biden administration.
Rivas-Figueroa is also a suspect in at least two other recent shooting incidents in the Bronx and Manhattan and is described as “very violent.”
He was filmed crying upon arrest, which should bolster arguments among Democrat sympathizers that he only turned to crime because his skin color offered him no opportunities. There is no word whether he will be released without bail, as were four illegal suspects who violently beat two New York police officers last week and are still at large.
The 16-year-old suspect was also arrested, but the other 15-year-old was questioned by police and released.
