Musk Warns X Will Be Targeted By Kamala Harris Through Legal Actions

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X, has voiced concerns that Vice President Kamala Harris would seek to shut down X if she wins the 2024 presidential election. Speaking in an interview with Tucker Carlson, Musk suggested that a Harris administration would use legal challenges to target the platform and other companies he owns.

“They’ll try to shut it down by any means possible,” Musk stated, referring to X’s role as a platform for free speech. He claimed Harris would likely push for new laws and pursue lawsuits to cripple X if it continues to provide a platform for open discussion. Musk believes this would be part of a broader crackdown on free speech by the Biden-Harris administration.

Musk pointed to the existing lawsuits his companies are facing, including a case against SpaceX filed by the Department of Justice. The lawsuit alleges that SpaceX failed to hire asylum seekers, which Musk explained is a violation of national security regulations. He also highlighted another lawsuit targeting Tesla for alleged racial discrimination.

Musk has been an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, appearing at Trump’s rallies and funding GOP campaigns. His support for conservative causes, he believes, has made him a target for the current administration and will continue to be under Harris if she wins the presidency.
