Orban Blames Globalists For Stirring Unrest In Serbia’s Government

Hungary’s President Viktor Orban is pointing to the recent upheaval in Serbia’s Parliament as further evidence that globalist groups are working to disrupt nationalist-led governments across Europe. In a statement on X, Orban accused these forces of attempting to create instability in Serbia, Slovakia and Hungary to weaken their leadership.

Serbia’s legislative session was thrown into disarray when opposition lawmakers used smoke bombs and other obstructive tactics to halt proceedings. Orban denounced the disruptions, expressing solidarity with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and calling out foreign actors who he believes are fueling unrest.

He suggested that these aggressive political tactics have intensified since globalists “lost Washington.” Orban has long been an ally of President Donald Trump, frequently praising him for standing against globalist pressures and prioritizing national sovereignty over foreign entanglements.

Hungary has been at odds with the European Union over policies that Orban says threaten national independence. His government has resisted EU directives on migration, economic policy and governance, often citing the need to protect Hungary’s sovereignty from Brussels’ overreach.

Orban’s defense of Serbia’s leadership underscores his broader opposition to what he sees as an orchestrated push to dismantle nationalist governments. He has repeatedly accused Brussels of using political and economic leverage to pressure conservative leaders into compliance.

The unrest in Serbia is just the latest example of mounting tensions between nationalist governments and opposition groups aligned with globalist interests, with Orban making it clear that he sees a larger battle at play.
