Philadelphia DA Funded By Soros Sues Musk Over Million-Dollar Petition For Constitution Support

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, who has received significant financial backing from billionaire George Soros, is taking legal action against Elon Musk over a Constitution-focused petition. Musk’s initiative offers a million-dollar giveaway to Americans in swing states who sign a petition stating, “I support the U.S. Constitution.” Krasner, however, claims Musk’s effort is a form of “election interference.”

The Department of Justice has also weighed in, suggesting Musk’s petition could potentially violate federal election laws. Critics argue that Musk is influencing the election, while his supporters see it as a defense of free speech and constitutional rights. Musk maintains that his effort is not about partisanship but rather about upholding America’s founding principles.

Sara Gonzales, a conservative commentator, blasted the response from Democrats, calling their opposition hypocritical. “Billionaires influencing elections is only a problem if they’re conservative,” Gonzales remarked, adding that Soros himself has contributed large sums to support Democratic candidates.

Musk responded to the controversy by criticizing Soros’ influence over justice policies. “Electing DAs that don’t prosecute crime is insane,” Musk said, pointing to Soros-backed DAs as an example of misplaced priorities that ignore public safety.

Financial reports show that Soros has spent millions promoting Democratic candidates, including $128 million in 2022 alone. Musk’s supporters argue that his petition initiative is minimal compared to Soros’ influence, suggesting that the real “election interference” is happening under the radar.

The lawsuit against Musk has become a focal point in the debate over billionaire influence, as conservatives rally around Musk’s efforts. For Musk, the petition is about upholding American values, but for his critics, it’s a matter of political maneuvering.
