Rapper 50 Cent has spoken out tentatively in favor of former president and current GOP primary frontrunner Donald Trump in response to the left’s latest preferential treatment for illegal aliens — New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ (D) plan to distribute $53 million to illegal aliens in his city via pre-paid credit cards.
In a post on Instagram, the popular rapper shared screenshots of a New York Post article about the proposed plan.
“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works, somebody explain,” the rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, wrote.
50 Cent went on to state that this news has made him consider voting for Trump as the solution to the border crisis and the far-left’s shocking pro-illegal immigration policies.
“Can’t explain this I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer,” he wrote.

According to the New York Post article shared by 50 Cent, Adams’ $53 million pilot program will be run by the New Jersey-based company Mobility Capital Finance and will provide illegal aliens with taxpayer money to purchase food. The outlet reported that the program will “start with a group of 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays” at the Roosevelt Hotel, “and will replace the current food service offered there, according to City Hall.”
The illegal aliens will only be allowed to use the cards at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores — and they will be required to sign an affidavit swearing to only use the money for food and baby supplies, or else risk being kicked out of the program. A family of four could receive nearly $1,000 per month — more than many Americans struggling under President Joe Biden’s economic downturn can afford on their salaries — with cards being refilled every 28 days.
Another popular rapper responded to 50 Cent’s comments in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Yo @50cent, he is the answer. MAGA,” wrote rapper Lil Pump, who has become an outspoken supporter of Trump in recent years, even going so far as to get Trump’s mugshot tattooed on his leg.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has recently become more outspoken about politics, even criticizing Biden’s disastrous economy by joking in an X post by stating, “I don’t want to be 20cent” under Biden.
This isn’t the first time that the rapper criticized Democrats over the illegal immigration crisis, as he previously condemned California’s decision to implement taxpayer-funded health care for illegal aliens.
“I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers. They don’t even give veterans health insurance. [MSNBC anchor Ari Melber] call my phone now, help me understand this s—t. WTF,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post in early January.
