Polling data from Emerson College published on Wednesday reveals a developing trend in North Carolina’s political landscape as President Donald Trump leads over Joe Biden in the race for the 2024 presidency.
According to the survey, Trump has 47% support compared to Biden’s 44% among Tarheel State voters. With third-party candidates included, Trump’s advantage extends to a 9-point lead in the pivotal battleground state.
The poll also sheds light on the preferences of independent voters. Trump edges out Biden among that essential demographic, 43% to 40%.
