Trump’s Higher Education Reform Targets Radical Left And Rising Costs

President Donald Trump has unveiled a plan to overhaul higher education, pledging to end the leftist agendas dominating American universities. The proposal includes measures to cut tuition costs, protect free speech, and refocus colleges on providing meaningful education.

Trump criticized the current accreditation system, calling it a failure that has allowed institutions to prioritize political agendas over academic standards. He vowed to fire radical accreditors and replace them with organizations dedicated to ensuring quality and accountability.

Key reforms in the plan include eliminating Marxist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and other unnecessary administrative positions that inflate tuition costs. Trump also proposed offering affordable, accelerated degree options to make college more accessible to all Americans.

To ensure students are gaining real skills, Trump’s plan requires colleges to administer entrance and exit exams. Enhanced job placement programs would also be mandatory, ensuring students can transition smoothly into the workforce.

Trump also addressed racial discrimination in universities, announcing plans to prosecute schools engaging in unlawful equity initiatives. Institutions found guilty could face hefty fines, with some funds redirected to victims of these policies.

“Colleges should be places of learning, not indoctrination,” Trump said. “We will take back our institutions and give students the education they need to succeed.”
