Dan Crenshaw’s Feud With Tucker Carlson Escalates After Violent Remark

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) was caught on a hot mic making a shocking statement about conservative commentator Tucker Carlson. During an interview with Great Britain News, Crenshaw was asked if he had ever met Carlson. His response was explicit: “If I ever meet him, I’d f***ing kill him.” He then called Carlson “the worst person ever.”

The comment was picked up on a hot mic and quickly went viral, sparking backlash from conservatives. Elon Musk reacted on X, asking why Crenshaw was “homicidal” toward Carlson. Carlson, refusing to let the remark go unchallenged, responded by inviting Crenshaw for a sit-down interview, writing, “Why don’t you come sit for an interview and we’ll see how you do? I’ll send you my address.”

Crenshaw and Carlson have long been political opponents, particularly on foreign policy. Carlson has been a vocal critic of Washington’s involvement in Ukraine, while Crenshaw has supported continued U.S. aid. Crenshaw has previously stated that the true purpose of funding Ukraine was not to win the war but to weaken Russia. Carlson has argued that this approach disregards the lives being lost in a conflict that cannot be won.

Beyond policy disagreements, the two have frequently exchanged personal insults. Crenshaw has labeled Carlson a “cowardly, know-nothing elitist” and accused him of using controversy to drive engagement. Carlson has mocked Crenshaw’s foreign policy stance, referring to him as “Eye Patch McCain” for his alignment with interventionist Republicans.

After Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) asked Crenshaw whether he truly made the threat, he laughed it off. However, Great Britain News reporter Steven Edgington, who recorded the moment, confirmed, “We literally have it on video.” Although the video was taken down from X, multiple accounts have continued to share it.
