Gabbard Exposes CIA Agents For Threatening National Security As Intelligence Community Faces Crackdown

Intelligence officials are under increased scrutiny after reports surfaced of CIA agents allegedly considering leaking classified information in response to policy changes under the Trump administration. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is calling out these individuals, warning that their actions will not be ignored.

Speaking on Fox News, Gabbard responded to concerns that some intelligence officials are using media outlets to voice threats about selling U.S. secrets. She criticized these agents for exposing their disloyalty, calling CNN their “propaganda arm” and pointing to its role in spreading their grievances.

Gabbard made it clear that her mission is to restore accountability in intelligence agencies and ensure that those in critical positions are committed to national security. She also revealed that since taking action, more individuals within the intelligence community have stepped forward to share additional concerns about misconduct.

As part of this broader effort to clean up intelligence agencies, Gabbard also responded to a separate issue involving explicit chats taking place on government-run systems. More than 100 employees were identified as having engaged in these discussions on an NSA-operated intranet, using channels labeled “LBTQA” and “IC_Pride_TWG.”

Following Trump’s executive order eliminating DEI programs, these chatrooms were immediately shut down. Deputy Chief of Staff Alexa Henning stated that intelligence agencies were ordered to identify all employees involved and revoke their security clearances. Those responsible are set to be terminated by the end of the week.

The CIA is also undergoing a major internal overhaul, marking its largest restructuring in nearly half a century. The agency has confirmed that multiple DEI programs have already been dismantled, aligning with the administration’s efforts to redirect intelligence agencies toward their primary national security mission.
